GOAL: Identify a candidate to “adopt” for the 2026 midterm elections
This group has been researching and interviewing candidates and prospective candidates, both in Texas and throughout the country, for us to support in next year’s midterm elections.
The committee will present their finalists to the full FORWRD membership at a meeting in Fall 2025 and we’ll vote to select a candidate.
NOTE: We’ll be watching the redistricting process closely as this process unfolds.
