GOAL: Engage and enlist Austin’s artists, musicians, writers & filmmakers
These folks have been cooking up great ideas and acting on them for months. They developed the brilliant “McCaul Missing” door tags that were distributed throughout District 10 after Rep. McCaul failed to show up for our Citizen Town Hall meeting in his district.
This group also created “Guild Banners” for different art forms — dance, books, writing, film, art, and music — to serve as gathering places for the arts community during mass protests like “No Kings.” One of our banners was featured in the New York Times coverage of that rally:
