Congratulations! You made it to the Official Home Stretch of the 2026 campaign season. Early voting starts in less than six weeks!
We’ve got two key dates for you to add to your calendar:
Thurs, 9/17: San Antonio Art Party
The brilliant Cruz Ortiz has created an incredible image to promote Katy Padilla Stout’s campaign. We’re hosting a party in San Antonio on Thursday, September 17 to celebrate!
The artist will be screen printing t-shirts, tote bags, posters — whatever we’ve got — live and in person at the party. And Katy Padilla Stout will be in attendance!
Here’s what we’re asking of you:
1. Please come!
2. Please invite your San Antonio friends to come! Or leave the inviting to us by adding your San Antonio contacts to the invite list here.
SHORT NOTICE, but … there’s an organizing meeting TONIGHT at 6 via Zoom. Jump in and let’s make this the ¡fiesta del año!
(If you can’t make it but really want a Katy t-shirt or tote bag, give us a shout and we’ll figure out a plan. That image is SO GOOD ….)
Another fun, low-stress way to support this event is to host a zine-folding party. Cruz’s goal is to send every attendee home with a “pollinator packet” of zines, fortune-tellers, and other goodies that will help spread the word about Katy’s campaign. Can you enlist your friends to help? You can pick up copies to fold through our ZINE WAREHOUSE … send us a message and we’ll give you all the details.
Plus! We’ve got a brand new zine about affordability! Here’s the cover:
Yeah, we’re GOING THERE 💅
Sunday, 9/27: Our Next Convening in Austin!
Who’s up for a big, noisy pep rally for democracy?
There will be some VERY SPECIAL GUESTS that we’re excited to tell you about … you won’t want to miss this one!
